Trip to Canadian Lakes

We took a pit stop for lunch in St. Ignace--check out that view!

Once in Canadian Lakes, the kids got to go for a ride on Grandma and Bakka's new pontoon boat. Henrik was not nearly as thrilled about it as Ida, but that was probably because he had to wear a life jacket that was as big as him.

Mardi Gras in July?

4th of July

The weekend was hot and we were all fighting colds so we took stayed close to home and enjoyed the long weekend.

Ida was excited about wearing her swimsuit, but not so excited about playing in the sprinkler. Apparently, splashing in the water puddles were much more fun.
