Christmas Eve before going to church.
The service included an impromptu live nativity scene. Ida was not interested in participating, but Henrik was all for it. He insisted on being an angel and after getting our hands on the last available angel costume he proudly walked up the aisle with the older kids.
Once everyone settled down for the night and everyone fell asleep, Santa arrived. We weren't able to get a glimpse of him but he filled stockings and left presents creating much excitement in the morning.
One of the kids' favorite gifts were the digital cameras they got from Grandma and Grandpa L. Henrik is trying to show Hagen, one of the many pictures he took of Hagen on the digital screen. We currently have lots of pictures of Hagen, various gifts, the Christmas tree, the kids and black, blurry or otherwise unrecognizable things. Still, they have provided much entertainment over the last week!
