Opening camp & something new

Everyone was happy to be back at camp for the spring.  We had a few glitches in getting camp opened, including driving a loaner car and not having a gate key, a leaky faucet in the master bathroom, and what appears to be a clog in the faucet in the other bathroom.  Despite the issues (which will hopefully be fixed in the very near future), we got camp opened up, things cleaned up, some trees planted, and . . .

the lawn mowed!!  Our new tractor, complete with a disc for making some food plots, was delivered and we wasted no time getting the lawn mowed and the kids used to riding with Chad.
Henrik enjoyed it a bit more than Ida, but even Suzanne took it for a spin and did a little mowing.

We only stayed the day and came home for mother's day, which was made complete by a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a gift certificate for a massage, more beautiful weather and the kids eating their first ever peanut butter (well actually soy butter since they refused to try peanut butter) and jelly sandwiches.  Henrik promptly declared:  "Daddy, I like this!".
