Random winter fun

The beginning of February meant the start of another session of swim lessons.  Henrik has taken to the water like a fish.  Floating (on his own) on his back for longer than mom can currently, floating for brief periods on his stomach and even a little bit of "front crawl".  Ida has progressed significantly as well and is starting to show a little more courage in the water every lesson.

We also attended Science Night at St. Christophers.  It was a huge hit with volcanoes erupting, balloon races, bubble blowing experiments, "dry snow" and worms that changed color.  All in all a fun night!

Ida went to her 2nd Valentine's Day tea, this time meeting up with her buddy Ellyana for tea, snacks, treats and lots of fun!

The UP 200 was a cold, but fun evening.  The dogs were excited and the mushers ready for the grand start in downtown Marquette.  Thankfully we were all dressed for the weather!

Chad took a trip down memory lane when we visited his old neighborhood to enjoy some snow caves/tunnels built by one of his childhood neighbors.  The tunnels were amazing and clearly a lot of work had been put into building them!
